Question by boldmoss: would it be ok if i swapped out 1 speaker for 2 in a guitar amplifier?
i want to get a peavey 6505 212 (2 12 inch speakers) guitar amp. but really dont want to spend more than a grand, so would it sound BASICALLY the same if i bought the peavey 6505 112 (1 12inch speaker) and replaced the front that only holds one speaker and made a new front that holds 2 12 inch speakers?
