how do i connect my television audio to my home theater system?

Question by CEIN39: how do i connect my television audio to my home theater system?
i want it so i can hear the audio on my speakers and not the tv speakers...what would i have to put it on though?(Aux S-video Etc.) Would i need to connect a cable to the head phone connector?

Answer by WenwAudiocomYour TV should have an AUDIO OUT (the red and white terminals). Just plug some patch cables between your TV's AUDIO OUT and your receiver or amplifier's AUDIO IN
